The Lincoln & District Running Club is a non-profit organisation and running club. The club was established in 1991 when it was known as the Lincoln & District Road Running Club. Our name changed to the Lincoln & District Runners in 2002 to better reflect the changing demographics of our membership as we no longer only focus on running and have a growing number of walkers and fell/trail runners. The club currently consists of about 70 members of all ages and abilities.

Our club feels that it's important that "No one gets left behind" when out running so come join us and start enjoying running.

Club Night - Every Tuesday @ North Kesteven Sports Centre

Club Night is every Tuesday evening at the North Kesteven Sports Centre (Sat Nav: LN6 9AX)

  • Starts promptly at 7.30pm

  • Meet in the sports centre foyer - we usually stand out being all dressed in running gear or fluorescent jackets (autumn & winter time)

  • Generally 25 - 30 participants, all paces, 3 - 7 miles. New participants are always most welcome...

  • Parking is available at the sports centre

New Members Information

We encourage all new members to come along on either Tuesday evening (Club night, see above) or Thursday evening (see Training Schedule for details) and join us for a run. We offer a month's free membership as a taster and if you enjoy running with us would offer you the opportunity to join. We are a friendly club so come along and join in. Please ask for Martyn or Marcus on your arrival. They will have a chat with you about your current running experience and introduce you to a few members on the evening. We hope you enjoy your run and look forward to seeing you at the next training session. If you do have any questions or queries please don't hesitate to contact us.

Walking Group

We also have a walking group who meet at all the locations displayed on the Training Schedule at 6.20pm ready to start walking at 6.30pm. The walks are usually around the hour mark so you will be back in time to joining the running group if you so wish.
