Burnsall Sports Day
This years club weekend away is going to be a trip to the Burnsall Sports Day on Saturday August 22nd 2009. Burnsall is situated in North Yorkshire between Skipton and Grassington.
The event includes a 10mile road race followed by the oldest Fell race in the country. The Fell race is 1.5m in length and climbs upto 900ft. So its straight up and down. Both races are pre-entry. Plenty to do for non-runners also. There are plenty of options for accommodation, including campsites, B+B etc, to be sorted out by individuals. Car share's will be available. Sherwood Pines 10k and 5k Trail Race
A club day out is to take place on Sunday July 19th. The event takes place in Sherwood Pines forest Park, just the otherside of Ollerton in Notts. There are a number of races including a 10k, 5k and free family runs. Walkers are also welcome to take part.
So bring all the family along for a great day out. There is a cafe, picnic areas etc.
