Please find details below of the Heckington 10 mile road race... apply early to avoid disappointment.

Please find attached an entry form for the Heckington 10 mile road race on Saturday 25th July 2009. In association with ‘Heckington and District Agricultural Society’ we managed to achieve our 200 race entry limit last year. This year we have increased the limit to 250, in what we believe is the maximum number of competitors within the Show Arena limitations and time constraints placed by the Heckington Show Committee.

I would therefore be grateful if you could advertise the race to your Club members and encourage early entry to avoid disappointment. Alongside the various individual prizes there are two Team Trophies to compete for, the Men’s team Trophy (first three) went last year to Louth AC and the Ladies (first three) Sleaford Town Runners. Both silver trophies are held for a year with winning Clubs able to have their Club name engraved on the base. This year we are receiving strong entries already from Lincolnshire Clubs and I hope Lincoln & District Runners will be able to field a two teams and keep the trophies in Lincolnshire.
