Well done to everyone who took part in the recent events - Welbourn Castle 10k full results are now available here, and results from the final Lincoln Wellington Summer 5k are here.

LongshawSaturday 5th September 2010 is the date for the Longshaw Fell Race - again on the club championship this year. This is a good event for anyone interested in having a go at a fell race - it is around 5.5 miles in distance with one steep climb up to Higger Tor. Longshaw is located in Derbyshire off the Sheffield-Hathersage road and we will arrange some car sharing in the run up to this event. (link to Longshaw Race route)

Another date for the diary is 9th October 2010 when the club once again hosts the Ducks and Drakes races at Washingborough. Club members are asked to help out if possible to ensure the success of this event - please see Martyn for details

Spires & Steeples Challenge 2010 PDF Print E-mail

Planning for the annual Spires & Steeples Challenge has started so get your running shoes or walking boots at the ready and start training for yet another fantastic local event. 

Taking place on Sunday 17 October 2010, the Challenge is a full or half marathon through the heart of Lincolnshire. Participants walk or run the entire 26 miles from Lincoln to Sleaford or the shorter 13 mile section from Metheringham to Sleaford, enjoying the beautiful artworks and picturesque villages and communities along the route. 

Please help us promote this event by displaying the attached poster and distributing the attached application form to your club members.
