New Club membership form is now available from the new members page and also the following link (via Google documents). Membership fees are now due and are £25.00 for the year.

* NEW - Training Runs *

There is now a new section on the website for members wanting to post details of training runs etc that they would like to share.

If you want to post details of a training run, then please contact the club and send details of the Date, Time, Location, Type of run (Intervals / Hill reps / Long run etc) and the Organiser name. Obviously these are open invitations so if you wish to run on your own then don't post. For further details please see the Training Runs page.

2011 Challenge

As many of you will know, we are proposing to hold a Challenge Weekend in summer 2011 which will be spent in North Yorkshire around the 'Three Peaks'. Members would have the option of supervised runs/walks over the 26 mile route. At this stage we are looking to collect information on possible numbers and the preferred accommodation (Bunkhouse, B&B, Camping etc) and also the preferred date (29/30/31 July 2011 or 19/20/21 August 2011). Please could interested members see Martyn.

Training Nights

Note that this winter a number of Tuesday night runs are taking place away from NK Sports Centre to vary things up - keep an eye on the training schedule.

In addition, during the winter schedule there will be a number of head torch runs - which will take place off road, but are unlikely to be over very rough terrain. If you fancy a go but don't own a head torch, please ask on a club night - there are several members with a spare one! Where members do not want to take part in the head torch run, a road run under street lights as normal will be lead from the same locations.

Latest News

Details of this years club championship are now on the website. This year it is the top 10 out of 16 races that count. There are also some new races on the Upcoming Races page that may be of interest.

The new training schedule is now online up to the end of May 2012. If anyone else fancies hosting a run then please let Ros or Martin know at one of the club nights. Neil has kindly offered to do some interval training sessions on some of the nights which are good speed training sessions for improving your 10K times in time for the Lincoln 10K on the 25th March.
