Club Day Out Sat May 8th 2010A club day out will consist of a Trail Run followed by a social in the evening. The trail run is the Cressbrook Crawl in Derbyshire on May 8th. This race is advertised as a Fell race, but does not go onto the high peaks or open moorland. It is run on farm tracks, riverside paths and disused railway tracks, there are a few hills to contend with but you can admire the view as you make you way up! So if anybody wants to try some off road running this race is an ideal starter, no medal at the finish, but you do get a free pint!! The distance is 6.5miles and starts at 11.00. There will be a car share sorted so you dont have to worry about driving there. No definite plan for the evening, but there are plenty of drinking establishments in the uphill area. Would be great to see you all at both events or even one of them.
