Marathon - Any drinking session involving Lincoln and District runners.

Fartleg - Messy condition of leg during race (Think Paula)

Interval Training - This involves the visiting of male/female urinals during sessions (see above). Must only involve fittest members as at end of session recovery periods get a lot shorter.

Hill Work - This involves walking up Steep Hill to find next hostelry or when holding A.G.M and we have to use stairs to meeting room. For serious drinkers only.

Energy drink - Guinness

Energy bar - Any bar dipped in Guinness

Off road - Highly risky event usually carried out after session, competitors have been known to wake up in Hedges/Thorn Bushes seriously scratched

Dehydration - Lack of Alcohol

Hydration - A pint of Guinness

Recovery - A good nights sleep

Cross Country - The shortest point between two pubs

P.B. - Most pints consumed before passing out or in one case falling of there bike

Bleep Test - Reaching bar before last orders is called.

Hope the above has brought a smile to your face , Ed.

P.S. Enjoyed the drink and here are two more

Warm up - Bacardi and Coke

Warm down - A double of the above.

Hitting the wall - This is due to a late night misjudgment caused by one or two to many, when the runner/drinker lose control of his body. Outcome being said runner mistakes wall for exit door (ouch !!! )
