Training Schedule

There's always something exciting going on at Lincoln and District Runners.

 

All runs start at 19:30, so please try and arrive by 19:20 for any announcements and to welcome new runners. New members; please make yourself known to the Run Leader.

Which group should I run with?

On a Tuesday evening we normally have three groups running. To keep the numbers fairly evenly spread, and ensure you gain the most benefit, please use the following pace guidelines:

 

Group 1: Sub 8:00 minutes per mile pace (sub 50 minutes for a 10K)

Group 2: 8:00 - 10:00 minutes per mile pace (sub 60 minute 10K) 

Group 3: Over 10:00 minutes per mile pace (Over 1 hour for a 10K)

 

On Thursday, we generally drop down to 2 groups (Group 1 and Group 2/3) and run from locations across Lincoln. After running we also have a social gathering at a nearby hostelry (pub or cafe) to chat and cement new friendships made on the road.
