Welcome to Lincoln District Runners - Updated 23 Jan 2021

Welcome to Lincoln & District Runners. We are a friendly and social group of runner who meet for runs in Lincoln and the surrounding areas.

The club meets twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7:30pm. Tuesday nights (except the first Tuesday of the month) are hosted at North Kesteven Lesiure Centre, whilst the first Tuesday, and Thursday nights, are hosted at a variety of locations in and around Lincoln. During the summer months and lighter evenings we head to many of the beautiful villages around Lincoln to add some trail running to our training.

Our club welcomes all levels of runners, and we have recently introduced a run-walk group for those beginning their running journey who want to develop with a great social bunch of people. We encourage runners to develop through improvement groups and structured sessions, with regular trips aways to the hills, club hosted events, headtorch runs, regular timed sessions, yearly championship challenges, and social events to keep you busy throughout the year.

We also encourage members to lead runs and events, and offer substantial discounts for members wishing to persue the Leadership in Running Fitness (LIRF) qualifications.

Please be aware that due to current Covid restrictions the club is not meeting at the moment, but we have a virtual club championship for existing members as well as regular Facebook training sessions online.

Please visit our Training page for further details of what the club offers and the 2021 LDR Club Championship. You can also contact us via email or through the online form on the Contacts page.

Club Championship 2021

Well done to everyone who took park in Round 1 of the LDR 2021 Championships. It was a nice easy 5K to start with wink, and this month (February) the challenge doubles in distance to a 10K.

Don't worry if you missed the first event, there is plenty of time to catch up this year, with lots of prizes on offer at the end.
